Happy Hour 5-6 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 9-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday
I’m not exaggerating when I say that my husband and I ordered almost every food item on the Happy Hour menu. Everything sounded so good, and we were not disappointed with our choices. We wanted to use Happy Hour as dinner, and we suspected that these were going to be small plates.
I chose three items. Totopos con Salsa ($3) was a fancy version of homemade chips, topped with crumbled cheese and three types of spicy salsa. My favorite was the thickest one, which had roasted chilies. Picadita Con Chile Dulce ($3) was a very interesting dish—it had black beans, peppers and a soft cheese layer. The Morisqueta ($3) was a corn dumpling that had chicken inside. I enjoyed all three of my choices, although at first I felt like I didn’t quite have enough food due to the small portions.
